What It Takes….

ff_halo_w2.jpgA while back I posted an article about certain companies blaming Bungie and Halo 3 for there own poor performance within the entertainment market. One of the articles I had alluded to in that first post was an article I had read in Wired magazine. The article discusses a bunch of different issues Bungie was faced with in the various stages of development.

And it also examines the routes they took in order to perfect the game play experience that they had envisioned from the beginning. Here is a link to the article in full, entitled The Science Of Play, which appeared in the September 2007 issue. Trust me, I think it is well worth the read. Maybe, hopefully, other companies will take the hint and follow suit. The final product of Halo 3 is certainly indicative of all of the work that went into it.
