“Ahh the Mauler of Halo 3,
Oh how I love thee.”

You already know that I love the Mauler, but it seems that other HaloBuds are starting to catch on.

Just yesterday xxLO PANxx gave me a few of his tips for using this powerful new weapon. However, I was pretending not to care because I don’t want anybody else to use it! So, some of this information might be a little off, but you get the idea.

1. Shoot ‘em in the face!
   This is pretty standard for any weapon, but the Mauler will kill instantly if you aim for the head when you’re very close to the enemy
2. Shoot from a distance
   According to xxLO PANxx, he’s killed prey with 3 Mauler shots from a good distance. Which could mean the Mauler has more range than the Shotgun, but we can’t back that up.
3. Dual wield the Mauler
   xxLO PANxx likes the idea of using two Maulers to pack more punch.
4. Mauler + Dudes
   xxLO PANxx said he uses the Mauler to pick up dudes on Xbox Live. I don’t know what that means, but that’s when I ended our friendship.
