Halo 3 Campaign Scoring

Campaign ScoringWhat is Campaign Scoring?

In the new Halo 3, you’ve got a chance to play the campaign (even co-op campaign) with old school, arcade style scoring. Just another way to keep everybody playing Halo3 for a long, long time. (Until Halo 4 perhaps?)

How does Campaign Scoring work?

You’ll get points! Yep, points have made a comeback in Halo 3. For every grunt or hunter you shoot, stick or beat down– Along with all of the other enemies– You’ll earn a number of points. How many points per kill? Bungie isn’t saying. You’ve got to try and figure that out yourself.

Also, just finishing a mission will get you points.

However, there are instant ways to get more points, but we’ll have to continue this in a bit because there are some spoilers coming….

Like I was saying, to instantly get more points in the Campaign Scoring mode, you can “enable skulls.”

As far as I know, that’s one of the benefits of finding all the skulls– When you enable some or all of them and turn on Campaign Scoring, you should earn a ton more points because the game will be more difficult. Check out the point multipliers on this page for each of the skulls.
