DigitalPh33r has been making the “Master Chief Sucks At Halo” movies for a while now. If you haven’t seen them, you’re probably Amish.

Did ya watch? Neat-oh. Lets go…

Lots of great ideas in this new video. Yes, I read about the video on Xbox360Fanboy.com so I knew what - or more to the point WHO - was in this new installment. And I’m happy to say that knowing the new twist didn’t spoil any of the viewing pleasure.

In fact, there are plenty of things to like and appreciate about this movie. You should know that I’m not a film student, I don’t direct movies and I don’t have a clue what I’m talking about - But I do have a website so I’m gonna tell you what rules about this flick

DigitalPh33r made two previous videos and they were hilarious - especially, the original. So how does he make the third movie interesting? Obviously, he had to add another character - and it happens to be the Arbiter. A good move too because the Arbiter is much, much smarter than Master Chief and you’ll realize that when you hear the dialogue between them. Watch for Master Chief’s line about the “mouth full.” Hilarious.

The story telling aspect is sweet too. Lots of variety with the opening dream sequence - which is completely “in-game” footage from the Halo 3 Theater.

I loved seeing Master Chief’s dream of saving some HaloBuds and being the ultimate badass.

Plus, you’ve got the the mix of live video with Master Chief, the Arbiter and the delivery guy. Great stuff. Man, I laughed my ass off when Master Chief answered the phone “what the hell is he doing with that frying pan?”- That was clever as hell… But I really wanted to see how he got the phone back up there.

Maybe in the next movie?

And the other brilliant move is showing Master Chief AND the Arbiter playing the game to show the contrast in skill. Of course the banter between them while playing is fantastic too.

I’m guessing that DigitalPh33r is a student of film - or he watches a ton of movies. This version seems so well thought out that he’s got to have some experience. If not, he should think about it because it’s really well done.
