Yep, you guessed it : we were playing some multiplayer on High Ground the other night and I did a little camping. Thought I’d share my new found tip for the High Ground Map.

Right away, I spawned up on the ridge, near the water. Up to this point I never really hung out there so I figured it was worth a try in order to give you die hard Halo (buds) fans something to read about.

If you happen to spawn (or jump) up there, just run forwards and you’ll discover a couple tasty treats at the end of the path: A Battle Rifle and an Over Shield. Wonderful combo, right?

As you probably guessed, I snatched both and tried to get comfortable in that same location. — A good move, I must say.

This specific location on High Ground is a sweet camping ground for a few reasons:

1. An Over Shield & a Battle Rifle constantly respawning next to you
2. The rocks and trees provide excellent cover and really make it difficult for the enemy to see you
3. If you’re keeping an eye on your radar, there’s almost no chance the enemy will sneak up behind you
4. You’ll have a clear view at both tunnels and the main open area of the map

I used all of these to my advantage and camped there the whole game.

How’d I do? Not stellar, but pretty good. Only scored 6 kills, but dished out 9 Assists and ZERO DEATHS. Which lead to an O.K. +6 Kill / Death Spread (K/D Spread).

Your numbers will be much better because I suck at the game, plus I’m horrible with the Battle Rifle.
