The best team is a team of players put together who can dominate in lonewolves yet play superbly as a team by learning strategies and team shooting. If you ever play a team of great individuals who have extreme team practices you will know immediately because everytime you spawn three people will be shooting you and they will maintain all power weapons and there spawn times. A war is but many battles and those battles must be won by good players in halo so even if you have a good team with above average players when you face the truly great teams you will lose. However, it is extremely hard to find such cohesion between four lonewolve players but if done the effect will be devastating.

Having one good player on a team does not mean a lot unless you're playing against a team with lack of team work... You know "that guy"... the guy that charges into the middle of the battle time and time again.. You put four of "that guy"'S on one team and one good player on the opposing team could easily mop them up for sure.

But team work around an all star is a good tactic. Maybe the best. It's always nice to have a obvious leader on the team.. a go-to guy. The guy that gets the final kill when the score is 49 - 49

This can go both ways, a General is not a Match for a Team of Effective Killers, However, I have felt the wrath of an Uber General, that sniped the Holy Hell out of our Team, thus pulling the win by a landslide. We have a Monster General in our group, and he is always +15 With 20+ Kills, so he is definitely a huge reason that we win. He is also a team player though, and puts faith in us as his team Mates.

Everyone has played the Uber team, the one that can do no wrong. A well put together team, with players that can mop up enemies that are wounded and a couple core players that make the other team play a little more cautiously will almost always be equalizing factors.
