The three new maps (Foundry, Rat’s Nest and Standoff) are fantastic. You need to get them… NOW!

Short Review of the New Maps:

Foundry: Crazy, close quarters battles. I’m loving the “upper level” and “ground level” strategies. Using the rocket launcher and blowing up fools from above is a screaming good time. Makes me feel like god, raining down fire balls from above. (I said “fire balls”) And I got my first double kill with one sniper shot last on Foundry. A good start.

Standoff: Surprisingly, Standoff is my least favorite of the three - Weird right? And it was the map I was most excited about. How does that work? Anyway, the map is gorgeous and huge and full of secret tunnels and back doors. (I said “back doors”) I think that I’ll love this map too, but I just need to play it a couple more times.

Rat’s Nest: I Love Rat’s Nest! Gotta be my favorite of the new maps. Wow is it a good time. And I was NOT excited to play this map at all when I heard about it — But I quickly realized how fun it is. The “race track” is a pure joy when in the Warthog with some buds — and suicide if you’re walking. My only tip for Rat’s Nest at the moment: Grab those plasma grenades! They’re as good as gold if your enemy uses the Warthog. Crouch down and stick the vehicles as they drive by… It’s pure magic.
